Receive a child-led, play-based education without having to homeschool.

We follow a nature-based curriculum including reading, writing, math, science, art,  music, history, and traditional skills and crafts.

Snacks include fruit and veg, yogurt, oatmeal, cheese and crackers, etc. Lunch includes simple camp food prepared over a fire, such as quesadillas, PB&J wraps, soup and flatbread, tuna, etc., with an occasional treat like s'mores.

We provide all learning materials, but students should carry a small backpack with water bottle that can be re-filled on site, a change of clothes, and a wet bag for dirty clothes. Students must have proper attire for rain and cold weather, including rain coat, rain boots, snow bib, winter boots, hat and gloves. 

$1,300 deposit required, plus 9 additional payments of $1,300 each month from September 1 through May 1

Hybrid Private School: Satisfies NC educational requirements but parents must work with student on days they are home.

Homeschool enrichment program: Child's household must be registered as a homeschool with the state of NC if child is 7 or above. This program provides enrichment only.

2 days a week: $6,000 per year ($600 per month)

3 days a week: $8,500 per year ($850 per month)

Families may use Opportunity/ESA+ funds towards tuition, plus Earthsong offers additional private scholarships. For our hybrid program the private scholarships are automatic - families do NOT need to apply.

• 2 days a week: $5,058 automatic Earthsong scholarship + $3,000-$7,000 Opportunity Scholarship = $0-$4,364 per year
• 3 days a week: $3,058 automatic Earthsong scholarship + $3,000-$7,000 Opportunity Scholarship = $2,000-$6,364 per year

Child must be potty trained and be able to hike without being carried for 15 minutes at a time (at least twice a day)

If, at any time during September, you decide Earthsong Explorers isn't the right fit, we'll refund your registration fee and any unused tuition.

The only costs you'll incur are the $25 application fee and tuition for the week(s) your child attended.
